Luca Loko Restaurant in Maite, San Juan, offers a calm dining spot that leans heavily into fresh, health-conscious options without sacrificing flavor. Located in the laid-back environment of Siquijor, it fits well for those who want a nourishing meal that doesn’t overwhelm the palate with heavy seasoning. This makes it ideal for visitors and locals looking to enjoy balanced meals that refresh rather than weigh you down.

The menu is a blend of local and international dishes, with smoothie bowls, like the Banana Pineapple and the Peanut Butter Bowl, standing out for their vibrant presentation and thoughtful combinations. For those wanting something more substantial, options like Shakshuka, Satay Noodles, and Korean Beef Bulgogi provide a gentle introduction to global flavors without being overly intense. The Full English Breakfast and Chicken Curry with Rice show how the restaurant balances comfort food with its health-focused ethos.

The atmosphere at Luca Loko feels peaceful and uncluttered, with a quiet, relaxed vibe that encourages lingering over a meal or having a casual morning coffee. The space is clean and decorated with a simple style that doesn’t compete with the food but complements the experience. Service here tends to be helpful and polite, with minimal waiting times even during busier hours.

This restaurant will appeal most to visitors who appreciate meals made from fresh, lightly seasoned ingredients and those who enjoy starting the day with a colorful smoothie bowl. It’s a good spot for breakfast or a light dinner, especially after heavier local fare or buffets elsewhere. Mornings and early afternoons are a fitting time to visit, when the ambience feels especially serene and the smoothie bowls are at their freshest.

Overall, Luca Loko fits comfortably into Siquijor’s gentle pace, offering an opportunity for both locals and travelers to enjoy food that nourishes without fuss, served in an inviting setting that encourages a slow, easy meal.

My palate is Filipino so I am used to strong and bold flavors. If you are looking for healthy food this restaurant is for you. The food is lightly seasoned the drinks are not sweet and everything leans toward a clean and healthy lifestyle. I am giving this a 4 star rating. The mango strawberry drink was a bit sour for my taste. I am used to very sweet and fragrant mangoes so the drink felt bland to me. This is just a personal preference. The environment was nice cozy and well designed with an Asian fusion feel. One suggestion would be to add Filipino vegetarian dishes like vegetarian kare kare vegetarian laing or ensaladang langka. These dishes would show that Filipino food can also be healthy and plant based. As a tourist the place felt more like Thailand or Bali rather than Siquijor or the Philippines. Overall great spot for health conscious diners but with a few Filipino touches this place could truly stand out and represent the heart of the Philippines not just the trend.

If you’re near Luca Loco, you have to stop by. The food is so fresh! The Mango Smoothie Bowl was the perfect starter, and the Shakshuka and Peanut Noodle Salad were both incredibly flavorful and satisfying. We left very full and very happy

We had a fantastic dinner here. After a big buffet dinner the night before, we wanted something fairly light and chose a couple of vegetarian dishes here. They were very tasty and served promptly. There was a decent variety of dishes to choose from and we’d certainly come back. The atmosphere was very relaxing, and the place was clean and well decorated. The service was very good. Prices are probably a little higher than some other restaurants but not too much, and definitely worth it.

I came here on my first day in Siquijor and became my place to go. The smoothie bowls are gorgeous so it's their presentation. I kept ordering the peanut butter one because it was delicious!!! It is also the best restaurant in town to have a proper, hot coffee and again the way they present it it's really cute. I also tried their matcha and it was good too. Hot and nicely done. When it comes to food, they didn't disappointed me either. I tried the shashuka, and although it has no the original recipe flavour that you expect, it was fine. The avocado toast with poached egg was also correct. The vegan satay noodles were very tasty, and I really enjoy them. Lastly, the staff here is the friendliest of the island. They are always happy to see you and they offer a fantastic customer service. The location is right on the main road of San Juan, a walking distance from the beach and other stores. I cannot recommend this place enough (specially for a smoothies, coffee and smoothie bowls). It was my comfort place to go. Thank you for an amazing food and service.

Went here for breakfast on our last day. We really wanted to try their smoothie bowl, and it definitely did not disappoint! Their staff was really accomodating and nice to us, she was kind to us in all our inquiries. There was minimal wait for the food. Food service was excellent, and all in all would come back for more.

We loved Luca Loko so much that we ate here three times in one week! The food is fresh, healthy, and really tasty, and the staff are super friendly and efficient. It’s a cozy little spot right by the coastal road in San Juan—definitely a must-visit!

I was really impressed by the thoughtful details at Luca Loko, especially in their comfort room. They provide small towels for washing your hands or face, complete with a basket for used ones and alcohol for sanitation — such a considerate touch! On the dining table, they also serve a packed “candy-style” wet tissue that expands when dipped in water — very creative and hygienic! As for the food, their Creamy Chicken was delicious (8/10 for me), while the Pork Sinigang had a flavorful soup but used pork cuts that were about 70% fat (7/10). The prices are a bit on the higher side — we spent ₱1,410 for two dishes and one smoothie for two people — but overall, it’s a nice place with great ambiance and impressive attention to detail.
